We’re blending semi-formal with a touch of black-tie flair for our McCall wedding - think polished but comfortable, with a nod to the lakefront, mountain setting.
Long gowns, cocktail dresses, dressy separates, or elegant jumpsuits are all beautiful choices. If you're feeling inspired and want to echo the setting, consider wearing black, tan, or soft blush tones - along with colors that complement the snowy landscape and stunning lakefront backdrop. Think timeless, graceful, and winter-chic.
And yes—sparkly shoes are absolutely encouraged. Just maybe bring a backup pair for snowbanks, slush, or unexpected dance-floor marathons. Style and practicality can coexist… Monica's promise.
A suit and tie is perfect (no tie is just fine too). Black-tie is also welcome, but definitely not required. Whether you’re pairing your suit with dress shoes or cowboy boots - patent leather or well-loved leather - you’ll fit right in.
A note for our out-of-town guests: McCall in March can be snowy and chilly, so we suggest warm layers for getting to and from the ceremony and reception. Stylish boots or weather-friendly footwear are totally acceptable. Your comfort is more important than stilettos in the snow!
